We have so many precious memories of Shirley while she lived with us at Abbeygate.

One special memory for myself, Shirley would at times be a little resistant to having support from staff.

When supporting her she would sit on the bed and i would sit next to her and she would put her head on my shoulder and say "you’re very kind".

We would hold hands and she would feel calmer and allow me to support her from time to time.
